The show has seen Ed, a 54 year old photographer hailing from San Diego, go to meet his online girlfriend Rose Vega in the Philippines for the first time.
The pair are seen in episodes throughout the season experiencing the ups and downs of their relationship in person for the first time.
Unfortunately for Big Ed, his behaviour towards Rose – which includes asking her to take an STI test, saying her breath smells, lying about his height and not revealing he doesn’t want kids until several days into his visit – proved too much.
In recent episodes, Rose is seen breaking up with Ed, and to this day they have not been showing any indication on their respective Instagram accounts that they are still together.
