Those who enjoyed the initial round of episodes for The Wilds will be pleased to know that Amazon Prime Video has renewed the show for season two.
The series, which has reminded many people of shows like Lost, sees a group of teenage girls forced to join forces after a plane crashes in Hawaii.
While they had been hoping to go to a womens’ empowerment retreat called Dawn of Eve, they instead end up using their survival skills on a deserted island.
Season two was announced on the official Instagram page, although a release date is currently unclear. The good news is that it appears filming is already underway.
Due to roadblocks such as COVID-19, there may not be any release until 2022, but we will keep you updated as 2021 continues as far as further announcements are concerned.
