Ed and Rose are two of the biggest stars from the latest instalment of 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days episodes. The pair are featured on season four of the spinoff show.
The premise of 90 Day Fiance is that US citizens bring their foreign spouse to the USA on the K-1 visa. They must then either marry in 90 days or return to their home country.
Before The 90 Days sees the lives of those who fall in love with someone overseas before the 90 day process. One such example is 54 year old photographer Ed, from San Diego, who goes to the Philippines to meet 23 year old Rose Vega for the first time.
The pair embark on a turbulent relationship in person, after some of Ed’s behaviour causes offense and his lies about wanting children and his height begin to unravel.
Another reason for interest in Big Ed is his physical appearance. He has been described by viewers as having ‘no neck’ due to a condition called Klippel Feil syndrome, which is typically abbreviated to KFS.
The condition sees patients have a short neck due to two of the seven neck vertebrae fusing. They also have mobility restrictions and struggle with lifelong symptoms such as frequent headaches.
