Disney has revealed a huge upcoming content slate of movies across Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar for its Disney Plus streaming service.
Chairman of the Media and Entertainment Distribution arm of The Walt Disney Company, Kareem Daniel, unveiled the news during the Disney Investor Day event.
There will be around 10 Marvel series, 10 Star Wars series and 15 live action, animation and Pixar shows emerging on the platform in the next few years.
What’s more, there will be 15 new Disney live-action, animation and Pixar features released directly to Disney Plus.
Daniel said: ‘With these Disney+ originals, along with theatrical releases and library titles, we will be adding something new to the service every week.’
While there are currently no details on what the titles of these pieces are, one is speculated to be the Cassian Andor series – which is a Rogue One prequel.
Furthermore, there is also a limited series on Obi-Wan Kenobi starring Ewan McGregor and a title with a female-focused cast.
