Noel Fielding has partnered with Netflix to create a new show focused on a magical record player.
Revealing the news on BBC Radio 6 Music, he said that he’d received the sign-off from Netflix on the show and so he’d be writing soon.
He described it by saying: ‘Basically a guy gets hold of a magic record player and when you put the record player on a portal appears and you can go inside your favourite albums.’
He went on to say that he’d pitched his idea to Netflix, who had liked it. ‘It’s a good concept but how I write it, I could come at it from many different angles and I’m trying to work out the best way.’
The Mighty Boosh star will reportedly write a six part series along with co writer Matt Haydock.
