A new streaming service has launched in the UK which focuses on British content.
BritBox is the result of a partnership between the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5.
The platform has been around in the US since March 2017, branching out to Canada in February 2019.
Dramas, comedies, films and documentaries are all available, with fan favourites such as Broadchurch, Gavin and Stacey, Doctor Who and Downton Abbey on offer.
There will be British originals made specifically for BritBox, and the next new title is said to be available from 2020.
BBC director general Tony Hall described the BritBox library as ‘truly British, showcasing our culture and telling distinctive stories. It’s what makes real British TV so special.’
