An upcoming Apple TV+ series called Shantaram has encountered delays, according to reports from Variety.
The delays are due to writing issues, as apparently only two out of ten of the episodes have been completed so far.
It has been said that screenwriter and showrunner Eric Singer has not yet completed the necessary scripts, and another show runner is rumoured to be getting hired to help out.
Filming has been delayed for a few months so the remaining eight episodes can be expanded on.
Shantaram is a series based on the Gregory Roberts novel. It focuses on a former bank robber who moves to Mumbai for a fresh start.
