Production on popular Netflix / The CW series Riverdale has been halted after someone on the production team came into contact with a person who recently tested positive for coronavirus.
Warner Bros said ‘We have been made aware that a team member from Riverdale, which is produced in Vancouver, was recently in contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19. The team member is currently receiving medical evaluation.
‘The health and safety of our employees, casts and crews is always our top priority. Out of an abundance of caution, production on Riverdale is currently suspended.’
Upcoming Fox series neXt has also been impacted by the virus, as a crew member tested positive for it during filming in Chicago.
