Brand new streaming service Peacock launches today. From NBCUniversal, Peacock has new TV shows like Brave New World ready to binge, as well as much loved classics like Parks and Recreation. Fans of The Office will also be happy to know the show will be jumping from Netflix to Peacock next year.
Peacock launches on July 15th at just past midnight. At the moment, there’s no release date set for overseas, so Peacock remains a U.S. exclusive for now.
Xfinity1 and Flex subscribers through Comcast have been able to try an early trial version of Peacock since April. They’ll also get free access to the streamer’s Premium version.
Peacock comes with three tiers of pricing – a free version with commercials, which is missing some content like Brave New World. The next tier, the Premium Plan, is priced at $4.99 a month and comes with more content compared to the free version. For no commercials, you’ll need the Peacock Premium ad-free plan for $9.99 a month.
