Season 3 of Sugar Rush hits Netflix today (July 31st) – and one episode is, tragically, believed to be late actress Naya Rivera’s last televised appearance.
Sugar Rush sees a group of professional bakers compete against each other in pairs to bake a range of confectionary delights. The winners take home a prize of $10,000.
Rivera features as a guest judge in the episode ‘Birds of a Feather’. The actress, perhaps best known for her time portraying Santana Lopez in Glee, sadly died in a drowning accident at Lake Piru earlier this July.
The episode is dedicated to Rivera, and Netflix went ahead with releasing it after consulting with Rivera’s manager Gladys Gonzalez.
