Amazon Prime Video has signed off on season three of Jack Ryan, with John Krasinski officially set to reprise his role as the main character.
There is no release date as of yet, but with the track record of season one coming out in August 2018 and season two in October 2019, we could guess that season three will be out in late 2020.
The show focuses on an ex-Marine turned CIA analyst who looks at the finances of terrorist organisations. Others in the cast include Abbie Cornish, Wendell Pierce, Michael Kelly and Noomie Rapace.
Tom Clancy’s original novel detailing the story was released in 1984 with The Hunt for Red October.
There are over 30 books in the series, either published or upcoming, with Mark Greaney picking them up after Clancy passed away.
