Upcoming series Love, Victor, from Hulu, has been hotly anticipated for a while – and now the good news is the release date has been moved forward.
The first season of the series comprises 10 episodes and is a spin-off based on the movie Love, Simon.
While the title had originally been planned for a release date of June 19, this has now been moved to June 17 due to Juneteenth – marking the end of US slavery.
In a statement, Hulu said: ‘This date represents an important turning point for our nation and for human rights, and we believe that now, more than ever, it deserves to have its own day in the spotlight.’
The series is now available for streaming on Hulu. It was originally set for Disney+, but was moved due to the use of sex and alcohol in scenes.
