Several famous faces have been signed up to star alongside Kaley Cuoco in her upcoming thriller drama series for HBO Max, The Flight Attendant. Cuoco, known for her role as Penny on The Big Bang Theory, will also be executive producing the series.
Rosie Perez will be a key series regular, playing Cassie’s (Cuoco) friend Megan. The character is a perfectionist who Deadline reports to be ‘bad at keeping other people’s secrets but great at keeping her own.’
Sonoya Mizuno will also appear, playing a ‘potentially dangerous’ businesswoman called Miranda who Cassie meets in Bangkok. Mizuno is known for her roles in Netflix’s Maniac and Warner Bros’ Crazy Rich Asians.
Michiel Huisman, known for his time on Game Of Thrones, will be in the series as charming and wealthy businessman Alex. He is reported to ‘run into some serious bad luck in Bangkok’ and spends longer with Cassie than he expected. Huisman played Daario Naharis in GoT.
Zosia Mamet will be playing Annie, a New Yorker and lawyer who ‘gets in over her head’ trying to help her friend Cassie. Mamet played Shoshanna Shapiro in HBO series Girls, and will also be in Apple’s series Dickinson alongside Hailee Steinfeld.
The Flight Attendant depicts the story of Cassie, who wakes up in the wrong hotel, in the wrong bed, with a dead man and no recollection of what happened. The drama shows how it can take just a single night for someone’s entire life to change.
