Netflix has revealed that the ever-popular series Seinfeld will be available on its platform from the start of October, marking a major win in the ongoing streaming wars. The news comes after the streamer lost Friends to its rival several months ago.
The milestone also marks the first time that every single episode of Seinfeld will be available on one platform, making Netflix the go-to destination for people who are fans of the hit NBC 1990s sitcom.
Seinfeld is still a much-celebrated show today, with Rolling Stones recently naming it the third greatest sitcom of all time. What’s more, the episodes will be available in 4K, making for an even more immersive trip down memory lane for nights in.
The sitcom was created by Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld, and aired between 1989 and 1998. It has nine seasons and 180 episodes, focusing on the small aspects of everyday life and commonly being referred to as a show about nothing.
Those who are not currently signed up to Netflix can access the basic service for $8.99 a month, or the premium service for $12.99 a month.
