Fans of romantic dramas will no doubt have watched the Netflix feature To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, so news that the sequel is out today will be welcome.
However, those who have yet to watch the original can now do so for free as the streaming platform is offering it without charge for non subscribers between now and March 9.
The sequel is called To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You and stars Lana Condor and Noah Centineo. The events follow the ending in the original, with the central character experiencing a new chapter of confusion in her love life.
Netflix has carried out similar strategies in the past in locations outside of the US, with the first episode of The Crown season three being made available free of charge.
The platform is clearly trying to drum up more native interest in its services, and it’s coming hot on the heels of success in the Oscars.
Its first partnership with Barack and Michelle Obama’s production company, Higher Ground Productions, won in the best documentary feature category with American Factory.
