For those who are fans of Meghan and Harry, the pair are set to make a rare appearance in the media world as Oprah Winfrey prepares to interview them in a primetime TV special.
Prospective viewers should mark their calendars for Sunday, March 7, as this is when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will sit down with the world famous TV personality and businesswoman.
To begin with, Oprah will be speaking just to Meghan. Harry will join in the second half, and topics expected to be covered include marriage, parenthood, Meghan adjusting to the royal life, their move to the United States and their growing family.
This news comes hot on the heels of a recent announcement from the pair that they are expecting their second child. Their first-born, Archie, was born in 2019.
Oprah is well known for being a friend of Meghan and Harry, having attended their wedding in 2018. She also recently promoted a vegan latte business which Meghan has invested in.
Fans may be hoping that the interview covers other issues such as press intrusion and Meghan’s miscarriage last summer. Notably, Meghan won her High Court privacy case against the Mail on Sunday on February 12 for publishing extracts from a letter to her father, Thomas Markle.
The show will be airing on CBS, at 8:00pm, and is titled CBS Special: Oprah With Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special. It lasts 90 minutes in total.
