Premise

There is a decent plot to get stuck into for each season of Outlander. For example, season 1 – which aired between 2014 and 2015 – sees Claire Randall and her husband Frank visiting Inverness in Scotland when she is taken from the Craigh na Dun standing stones to 1743. A group of Highlanders are being hunted down by British redcoats, and she is forced to marry one of them – Jamie Fraser. That said, they fall in love, but she encounters troubles from the Clan.

In season two, Claire and Jamie are involved in a number of political plots and action-packed scenes as they try to thwart the Jacobites. Later, Jamie tells Claire she must return to her own time. She goes to Frank, and tells him the truth about what happened. She is pregnant again with Jamie’s baby, and Frank makes a decision about their future.
