Overview

There are few people who haven’t heard of The Walking Dead. This series falls into the post-apocalyptic horror genre, and is based on a comic book series. There are many people in the cast, and many are playing the survivors of a zombie apocalypse. Their mission is to stay alive as ‘walkers’ constantly try to attack them. There is another threat in the form of other groups of survivors, who become hostile as they battle against each other. 

This show is known for broadcasting exclusively on AMC, with international distribution rights coming through the Fox Networks Group. It is largely filmed in outdoor spaces located near Senoia, Georgia. The 18 to 49 year old viewership for this show has been known as the biggest for any cable or broadcast TV series.
