Sling is offering its Sling Blue service free for 14 days in recognition of the quarantine measures in place across the US due to coronavirus.
The streaming service has created the offer, which is in place until April 5, in order to let those living in isolation or quarantine stay up to date with news around the pandemic.
Sling TV’s group president Warren Schlichting said: ‘We’re hoping to motivate Americans to stay home, and stay informed during this critical time.’
The Sling Blue package provides access to over 45 live channels, over 50,000 movies and shows on-demand, free cloud DVR and the ability to stream on 3 screens at once.
News is available from outlets such as CNN, Fox News Channel, MSNBC and more. There are kid-friendly options such as Nick Jr and Cartoon Network, plus movies and shows.
