Fans have been enjoying The Old Guard on Netflix – an action movie which many are hoping is expanded into a sequel.
Should the movie become the first of multiple instalments, there will be plenty of loose ends to tie up.
For example, the credits for this movie show Booker in Paris half a year after his betrayal led to him being dismissed. He is greeted by Quynh in a shocking plot twist.
Netflix Originals which have a sequel are typically reported as having two years between titles, so it is most likely such a movie would not come out until around 2022.
The cast for The Old Guard includes Charlize Theron playing Andy, Matthias Schoenaerts in the role of Booker, Luca Marinella as Nicky, KiKi Layne as Nile and Marwan Kenzari playing Joe.
