TiVo has launched a new free streaming service, TiVo+, which is now available on TiVo DVRs and allows users to stream thousands of free TV shows and movies.
There are 26 channels available at the date of launch, which include Adventure Sports Network, America’s Funniest Home Videos, Baeble Music, FilmRise Free Movies, Kid Genius, NatureVision, People Are Awesome, The Pet Collective, TMZ and Unsolved Mysteries.
Dave Shull, president and CEO of TiVo, said: “With TiVo+, we’ve made it easy for users to watch on their own terms, bringing live streaming channels, like Hell’s Kitchen, Unsolved Mysteries and other favorites, thousands of movies, and TV shows into an app-free environment – all delivered through the TiVo experience that millions of people around the world already know and love.
“TiVo+ makes entertainment easy to find and watch, providing a carefully curated selection of streaming entertainment seamlessly delivered alongside traditional television.”
What’s more, TiVo has plans to release further products and services, as they have ambitious plans. To be precise, Schull told Cord Cutters News: ‘In the coming months, we’ll be rolling out more products…with the goal of more than doubling the 22 million households we already proudly serve.’
