Dr Pimple Popper is a fan favourite on reality channel TLC, and the latest on the doctor is that she has shared a way to help with ‘mask acne’ caused by pandemic measures.
On her TikTok, the doctor – real name Dr Sandra Lee – suggested that those suffering from the condition spray the inside of their masks with a salicylic acid-based product.
She described how people should spray it on, then fan out the mask to dry it. The explanation was: ‘Salicylic acid cleans out the oil and debris within your pores, preventing acne.’
Other tips shared by the reality star include using cotton masks to reduce irritation and using cleanser before and after putting a mask on.
New episodes of Dr Pimple Popper air from 9pm on TLC, and this channel can be streamed via fuboTV. The platform comes with a seven day free trial for new subscribers.
