Netflix fans have been excitedly waiting for the latest season of Wentworth to drop on the streaming platform. The eighth instalment is out today, September 30, but fans have been wanting to know when exactly it will become available in their location.
The good news is that it has become available from 3am ET (or 12am PT), which is the usual time for Netflix to release new episodes. Impressively, the season eight finale only aired the day before – September 29, 2020 – in Australia.
Wentworth has been around since 2013, and it has good reviews – in fact, popular review site Rotten Tomatoes rates it 97% when it comes to its audience score. Furthermore, there will be a ninth and final season after this one.
In the meantime, if you manage to binge watch the entire eighth season of Wentworth in the next few days, there is plenty coming up on Netflix over the course of October 2020. For example, there is a dramedy called Stranger than Fiction and the first season of The Unicorn from CBS.
When it comes to season 9, this will be making its debut in Australia in 2021, and it’s likely that the season will drop in its entirety on Netflix a day later – as has been the case with seasons five to eight of this popular series.
