With Disney+ on the horizon, Marvel fans will want to know which movies and shows will be available when the streaming service launches on November 12.
There will only be one new Marvel show available when the platform first goes live – Marvel’s Hero Project, which is a docuseries about real-life heroes. The only Marvel Cinematic Universe series which will be available from the outset is Inhumans.
Some Marvel movies will be available from the launch date – to be specific, these are Iron Man, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man, and Captain Marvel. If you can wait until December 11, this is when Avengers: Endgame will become available.
The animated non-MCU series which you’ll be able to stream from November 12 are Spider-Woman, Spider-Man, Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Silver Surfer, Spider-Man Unlimited, Avengers: United They Stand, X-Men: Evolution, Fantastic Four: World’s Greatest Heroes, Wolverine and the X-Men, Iron Man: Armored Adventures, Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, Ultimate Spider-Man, Avengers Assemble, Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man and Big Hero 6.
It’s currently unknown when The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will become available on Disney+.
What’s more, Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Spider-Man: Far From Home won’t be on Disney+ on November 12 as these titles weren’t distributed by Disney originally and so getting the streaming rights may take some time.
As for Thor: Ragnarok, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War, these will move to the new platform once the licensing deal with Netflix expires.
The new Marvel shows which will come to the platform are: Marvel’s 616: 2020, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki, Marvel’s What If…?, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight and She-Hulk. However, you’ll be waiting until 2020, 2021 and possibly beyond for these titles.
