It’s safe to say that HBO Max is a streaming platform which is focusing on nostalgia for its viewers, and the latest instalment is the Fresh Prince of Bel Air reunion.
Recently released on the streamer, this one-off special celebrates 30 years of the sitcom and shows key stars such as Will Smith and Alfonso Ribeiro looking back on the years they spent on set.
After a September recording, the show made its debut on HBO Max on November 19, and those who feature include Karyn Parsons (Hilary), Tatyana Ali (Ashley), DJ Jazzy Jeff, Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey), Daphne Maxwell Reid (Aunt Viv 2).
James Avery, who played Uncle Phil, will not be in attendance as he sadly passed away in 2013. However, his presence on the show will be acknowledged by the cast.
For those in the US, the reunion can be streamed now with a subscription to HBO Max. After a seven day free trial, the platform comes with a monthly cost of $14.99.
There is also a trailer available on YouTube to watch beforehand, which teases Janet Hubert appearing on the re-made set and making amends with Will.
