Disney Plus has recently released the final trailer for WandaVision before the Marvel show comes out on the streaming platform in January 2021.
As fans will know, Wanda and Vision have been left in some unusual circumstances since the movies Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
While Vision has been killed by Thanos, Wanda awoke from the Mad Titan’s Snap and disintegrated as a result.
Here are some of the key takeaways we noticed from the most recent MCU teaser.
TV episodes move through various decades
Wanda and Vision are seen in scenes which pay tribute to shows from previous decades, such as the 50s and 60s.
The pair are enjoying suburban life
This matches up with their desire in the comics, where they wanted to live a more traditional lifestyle.
Wanda manages to become pregnant
The trailer shows Wanda happily looking up at Vision as he touches her pregnant stomach.
However, the original comic twins – Tommy and Billy – are subject to routine disappearances.
Radio messages
We see Wanda become increasingly concerned about the world she’s living in, especially when a man on the radio comes through saying ‘Wanda? Can you hear me? Who’s doing this to you?’
A swarm of butterflies appears
Those clued up on the MCU will notice the reference when the childrens’ crib in the trailer features a swarm of butterflies.
In Avengers: Infinity War, Doctor Stranger turns Thanos’ attack into the exact same thing.
