Sundance is beginning today, and the lineup has shown that documentaries are the hot topic. What’s more, there are plenty of titles from streaming services in this genre.
Notably, Netflix is bringing the long-awaited Taylor Swift documentary Miss Americana to the festival, and Hulu is taking its four part Hillary Clinton series, titled Hillary.
Netflix and Hulu will be standing out, as Netflix is bringing four documentaries out of the eight total. These include Dick Johnson Is Dead and Mucho Mucho Amor.
Furthermore, Hulu is bringing the former presidential candidate for a panel on the documentary, which covers the 2016 election campaign.
Other hot titles include Crip Camp, the latest film from Barack and Michelle Obama’s production company Higher Ground, an Apple TV+ project on Billie Eilish and YouTube’s 10-part series on Justin Bieber.
