Whenever a new season of Stranger Things drops on Netflix, everyone rushes to binge all of the episodes as soon as possible.
With season three most recently being added to the platform and ending with heartbreaking scenes which led to fans desperate to know what happens next, everyone wants to find out what’s being planned for the future.
While the Duffer brothers have remained pretty tight-lipped on what will go down in season four, we do now know that the entire saga will come to an end once the fifth season is done.
New reports from We Got This Covered state that the Duffer brothers will be splitting the final season into two parts, with the plot from season four carrying over into the next one.
This would be a change from the previous seasons, which have been self-contained storylines.
Millie Bobby Brown has confirmed that filming for new episodes will be starting ‘early this year’. A fan Q&A on her Instagram account led to the star saying that filming would begin ‘Soon! Early this year for sure and v excited ab it.’
According to Murphy’s Multiverse, filming is likely to begin in early February, with some scenes featuring a prison and the same set as the one in HBO’s Chernobyl being used.
Further rumours indicate that the cast will be going to Lithuania for the beginning of season four production.
