Jessica Alba is starring in and executive producing a documentary series called Parenting Without Borders for Disney Plus.
The travel show will focus on parenting practices across the globe, and is based on a book by Christine Gross-Los PhD.
The book looks at how American children are behind in certain areas of development, subsequently drawing on research from global parenting techniques to cultivate qualities such as resilience, academic excellence and independence.
Alba has three children herself and will work with Companies Boardwalk Pictures, Hunting Lane, Underground and Five All in the Fifth in the executive production department.
Kathy O’Kane, known for her work on Salt, Fact, Acid, Heat on Netflix, will direct the series and act as showrunner.
