Meghan Markle has taken on her first job since leaving the senior royals by voicing a new Disney documentary called Elephant.
Disney Nature confirmed her role in a tweet which said ‘Elephant, narrated by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, follows one family’s extraordinary 1000 mile journey across Africa on an adventure that will change their lives.’
The story focuses on an African elephant called Shani and her son Jomo while they journey across the Kalahari Desert with their herd.
According to People, the documentary has been created in partnership with Elephants Without Borders. Meghan and Harry have worked with the conservation project closely in the past.
The new documentary will be released on Disney Plus on April 3, and the voice over deal was made with Meghan in exchange for a donation towards the charity.
