Hulu subscribers have been distraught to find that their access to One Piece episodes has gone.
The anime series had previously been listed as expiring soon, which led to people talking on Reddit about whether this was true.
However, Decider confirmed with Hulu that the series was not expiring and the contract had been renewed.
Further confusion has since arisen today – Tuesday, April 14, 2020 – as some viewers have reported being unable to access the show on the Reddit thread.
Twitter users have also expressed their anger. One said ‘Why would Hulu remove One Piece from its service in the middle of a pandemic’.
Another said ‘So I decided to watch One Piece and then Hulu stops streaming it…’ while a third said ‘Hulu took One Piece off and I’m mad.’
Hopefully the error is a temporary glitch and the shows will be back up again soon!
UPDATE: Hulu has confirmed to us that One Piece is now back up for fans, as of April 16, 2020.
