The hotly anticipated Disney Plus Star Wars spinoff, Rogue One, has had two new faces added to its cast list – Stellan Skarsgard and Kyle Soller.
Reports indicate that the two are in final negotiations for the parts, and now a fuller cast list is giving people an idea of what to expect.
Diego Luna confirmed the spinoff would be taking place a few months ago, saying: ‘Yes, we are doing it. We are doing it this year. It’s happening, and I’m getting ready for it.
‘It is a different approach because of the beauty and it’s how things happen. It’s not just what happens. It’s not the typical way of approaching a story. It’s about how things happen, which in fact, is the same that happened in Rogue One.
‘You know the ending, but you don’t know how it happened, and we have that challenge in front of us again, which is exciting.’
Skarsgard is a Swedish actor, best known for his roles in Mamma Mia, Thor and Good Will Hunting.
Meanwhile, Soller is an American-British actor known for his appearances in Poldark, An Inspector Calls and Monsters: Dark Continent.
