Apple TV+ show Servant has just been released on the streaming platform – but even before its first global viewing, news arrived about season two.
The show is a psychological thriller with M Night Shyamalan and Tony Basgallop as executive producers. On-screen stars include Toby Kebbell, Lauren Ambrose, Nell Tiger Free and Rupert Grint.
Showrunner Basgallop recently talked about the series, saying he was working on it for a long time as a child.
He said: ‘I’ve thrown away a lot of the rules I’ve learned about writing in television for this one; I’ve tried to make it personal and yet keep it genre specific – play it as a thriller.’
The first season came out on the streamer on November 28. It’s probable that a second season would not be arriving until late 2020.
