The popular Bravo franchise Real Housewives has recently been airing its New York City and Beverly Hills version – plus Real Housewives of Potomac is currently airing every Sunday on the reality and lifestyle channel. However, fans have wondered why Charrisse Jackson left the show over a year ago, so we’ve done a little digging to find out.

Charrisse Jackson Jordan is known for her philanthropic work, which includes acts such as hosting charity galas. Hower, in the first season of RHOP she was married to former NBA star Eddie Jordan and relocated to Potomac, Maryland during Eddie’s time with the Washington Wizards.

Unfazed by the move, she settled in quickly and became Vice President of the NBA Wives Association. However, her marriage soon struggled when Eddie took on a coaching role in New Jersey and eventually decided to live there full time while she raised the two children alone.

When Charrisse left the show, it was understood she was doing it to focus more on her personal life – namely, finalising her divorce. Indeed, she was no longer a fixture on the show once season four aired as she had been married for two decades and didn’t want fans to be watching her pain on camera.

Currently, Charrisse maintains an active social presence on Instagram with 137k followers at the time of writing. She posts about her daily life, which includes her travels, workouts, family and more. Fortunately, seasons four and five of Real Housewives of Potomac can be streamed on fuboTV now with a seven day free trial for those who want to catch up on the latest drama.
