As increasing numbers of people go into isolation or quarantine during the coronavirus pandemic, many of them are signing up for Disney Plus.
In fact, subscription numbers have reportedly soared in reaction to COVID-19, presumably as people work from home and schools are closed down.
Forbes has reported that the number of people signing up to Disney+ tripled between 14 and 16 March compared to the same time period in the week prior.
Disney Plus features content from its Disney Vault, plus Marvel movies, Pixar films, National Geographic documentaries and fan favourites such as The Simpsons.
Disney isn’t the only service which has benefited from more subscriptions, as HBO Now and Showtime have seen 90% and 78% increases respectively.
