The Disney Investor Day saw a number of announcements come to light about new projects in the works, and one of them is a Fantastic 4 movie at Marvel.
Marvel boss Kevin Feige confirmed that the title was underway, with Jon Watts – director of Spider-Man: Homecoming and Far From Home – at the head of the project.
He said: I’m happy to announce a film about one of the truly iconic Marvel families – in fact, Marvel’s first family: the Fantastic Four.
‘We’re working on a feature now and it will be directed by the director of our recent Spider-Man films, Jon Watts.’
Other titles being worked on in the Marvel Studios include an Armor Wars adaptation based on Tony Stark’s tech falling into the wrong hands.
There will also be an Ironheart series focused on Riri Williams and an adaptation of the Secret Wars comics with Nick Fury and Talos.
