A few days ago, episode four of The Great British Baking Show season 11 aired, leaving us all wanting to know what would happen next. Currently, PBS is airing each episode on a weekly basis.
In the UK, episodes are coming out locally each Tuesday, but US fans streaming in the US will need to wait until Friday to stream the latest episode. There are ten episodes in total, which means that we still have a good few weeks left.
The show was filmed in just six weeks instead of the usual twelve, in a self-contained biosphere due to restrictions caused by the pandemic. However, we can still expect to see Prue Leith, Paul Hollywood and Noel Fielding, plus Matt Lucas replacing Sandi Toksvig as a host.
The most recent episode saw chocolate week air, and the bakers created 18 chocolate brownies. Then a chocolate babka was the goal during the technical, and the showstopper was a two-tiered white chocolate celebration cake.
Dave, Hermine, Laura, Linda, Lottie, Marc, Mark, Peter and Sura all competed, but Sura was unfortunately eliminated. Coming up, episode five is pastry week – so tune in at 12am PT/8am ET to watch the latest instalment.
