It has been reported that Kristen Bell will be reprising her role as narrator on the Gossip Girl reboot heading to upcoming streaming service HBO Max.
The original series creators – Stephanie Savage and Josh Schwartz – have signed up to executive produce the new show.
Former executive producer for the original show, Joshua Safran, will be showrunner.
The three issued a statement saying ‘Kristen Bell has always been and will always be the voice of Gossip Girl.’
HBO Max placed a series order for 10 episodes of the hit show, formerly of the CW. It has been described as introducing ‘a fresh crop of gorgeous Manhattan private-schoolers to Gossip Girl’s all-seeing eye.’
