The wait is almost over for viewers who want to check out the movie version of Broadway musical hit Hamilton.
The internet has been abuzz for a while with the news that the title’s release had been pulled forward dramatically – now set to make its debut on Disney Plus on Friday, July 3.
Unfortunately, Disney has recently shut down its free trial setup, but you can sign up for a month of the paid account to check out the title and plenty of classics from the rich vault of content available.
Those who have critiqued Hamilton so far have described it as a creative and modern take of the tale which sees Alexander Hamilton become a US founding father.
The title was created by Lin-Manuel Miranda, a well-known composer, playwright, producer and performer. Impressively, Hamilton landed 11 Tony Awards and the Pulitzer Prize in Drama in 2016.
