Today is the hotly anticipated release day for Paramount Plus, which means that new movie Spongebob: Sponge on the Run is also available to watch on the platform.
The movie is set to tell the story of how Spongebob and his friends met, and fans can expect to see some drama go down when Gary goes missing. What’s more, there are reportedly plenty of celebrity cameos coming up.
Fans of Spongebob in the US can watch the film on Paramount Plus by signing up for a new account or having their CBS All Access account transferred over. If you fall into the latter category, don’t worry – this process is done automatically.
While there is not currently a way to watch the movie for free, a subscription to Paramount Plus costs just $5.99 a month and includes content such as The Good Fight, Star Trek: Picard, Survivor and Big Brother.
Upcoming content also includes reboots of Frasier and Criminal Minds, with news out about a revival of iCarly and Rugrats also recently hitting the press.
