Wu Tang: An American Saga has proven to be one of the most popular series on Hulu, and the streamer has responded to this demand by renewing the show for a second season.
The series focuses on where the original Wu-Tang Clan collective came from, and while it’s mostly fictional, viewers can learn about real events which took place.
The first season has 10 episodes and saw Hulu subscribers watch the story of how the iconic group began to make their music.
According to reports, the second season will be released in the second half of 2020. Season one made its debut on September 4 in 2019, so perhaps a similar release date is being planned for this year.
Wu Tang: An American Saga proved to be hugely successful in terms of attracting a new audience to Hulu’s platform, as the African American demographic saw an increase in sign-ups and views of the show.
Stars of the show include Ashton Sanders, Shameik Moore, Dave East, Siddiq Saunderson, Marcus Callender, Julian Elijah Martinez, Zolee Griggs, Erika Alexander, TJ Atoms and Johnell Young.
