Upcoming Marvel series Loki is hotly anticipated by MCU fans, and now the show has a new cast member in the form of actor Owen Wilson.
Loki stars Tom Hiddleston, who reprises his role as Thor’s villainous brother and general trickster of Asgard. Fans have been kept entertained by the actor’s behind the scenes videos on Instagram, depicting his training.
Wilson is known for his roles in movies such as Wedding Crashers, Zoolander and The Royal Tenenbaums. As he’s commonly seen as a comedy actor, it’s possible the Loki series will feature some funny scenes with him in them.
Work on the upcoming Loki show began in December, with the series set to launch on Disney Plus in 2021. It was originally announced in November 2018.
Disney Plus launched a year later in the US, closely followed by Australia. European territories and the UK are getting the service from March 2020.
