Ever since the bombshell announcement from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, which revealed they would be stepping back from royal duties to start a new life with baby Archie, the world has been watching to see what the pair work on post royal life.
Now it has been revealed that Meghan Markle will appear in a reality TV show about second weddings. According to The New York Post, the show will come soon to Netflix. It’s called I Do, Redo.
The series stars Meghan’s close friend Jessica Mulroney, who is a Toronto-based wedding stylist. Sources have stated that Markle will make ‘sporadic’ guest appearances on the show.
This news may come as a surprise for those who expected Meghan to appear in scripted drama, as was her past when she starred in Suits. However, her fit for the show makes sense, as she was married once before and has now re-married to a prince.
There isn’t a clear picture of what stage in production the series is in, but we do know that the couples have been selected from the US and Canada, with the film crew sighted in Florida, Connecticut and the Caribbean.
Mulroney said in her announcement of the show last year that it would reveal ‘A side of the wedding industry that has never been shown on television.’
Markle has also reportedly signed a deal to do voice over work for Disney.
