Recent Netflix series The Witcher has proven to be a huge success, and now the streamer has confirmed an animated spin-off called The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf.
The animated feature comes from the main series showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, along with writer Beau DeMayo.
News of the spin-off first came when Redanian Intelligence writers saw a script entry on the website for the Writers’ Guild of America.
The Witcher franchise was originally a collection of short stories published by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski.
They then made the move into comics, video games and a movie before hitting Netflix as a TV series.
Season one of The Witcher, starring Henry Cavill, is streaming now on Netflix.
