Much-loved series It’s Always Sunny is returning for season 14 on Netflix in 2020.
The comedy show is officially one of the longest-running shows in its genre of all time, and Netflix have now confirmed on Twitter that the gang will be returning for an additional season.
Season 14 of It’s Always Sunny will make its debut on Netflix on January 19, 2020.
Earlier this year, FX CEO John Landgraf commented: ‘As long as we can come to business terms that fit both our needs and they can continue to make episodes as good as they have been making, there is a good chance it may go past season 14.’
The show focuses on Dennis and Dee Reynolds, Charlie and Mac, who own an Irish bar in Philadelphia. The stars are played by Glenn Howerton, Kaitlin Olson, Charlie Day and Rob McElhenney. Frank Reynolds is played by Danny DeVito.
There had previously been rumours that the season which just ended in the US could be the last one, but now the series has officially been revitalised.
