The first trailer for the new Apple TV+ series Amazing Stories from Steven Spielberg has been revealed. The series will make its debut on the streaming service on March 6.
The series is a revival from the original show which aired on NBC from 1985. After two seasons, it has taken until now to return to TV screens. Apple TV+ is providing viewers with five different stories.
Reports about Apple and Spielberg working together on the project first emerged in 2017, and the work was subject to several production delays along the way.
One of the delays came about when showrunner Bryan Fuller, known for his work on American Gods and Star Trek: Discovery, departed in 2018.
Previously, Wall Street Journal had reported that each episode of the revived anthology series would set Apple back around $5 million.
The series has come about as the result of a partnership between Amblin Television – Spielberg’s company – NBCUniversal and the tech giant.
