ESPN has a series of documentary films called 30 for 30, but those who have not encountered the collection before may experience confusion about its name.
The series came about as it was born as a set of 30 films to celebrate ESPN’s 30th anniversary in 2009. The idea was to explore some of the biggest stories from ESPN’s first 30 years on air.
Furthermore, the films would be made with the help of 30 filmmakers, each one lasting for an hour. The stories initially aired between 2009 and 2010, and are now available on ESPN Plus.
Lance is the fourth movie in Volume IV of the 30 for 30 documentaries. Part one aired on May 24, and part 2 airs on May 31, 2020.
The documentary focuses on Lance Armstrong, who was once seen as the greatest cyclist in history.
The film sees him discuss his scandals, such as the drugs and how he interacted with others. To watch the explosive series, you can sign up for ESPN+ right here.
