Quibi will be launching its short form video streaming service on April 6, providing content which acts as a cross between the traditional Netflix style and quick-scroll TikTok content.

To entice viewers, the platform is offering a 90 day free trial to those who sign up before the service launches.

It’s pretty simple to get involved, as users just have to visit the Quibi website and sign up before April 6.

In comparison, Disney Plus offered customers a seven day free trial when it launched, and Apple TV Plus gave a free year to those who bought a new or refurbished Apple hardware device.

Previously, Quibi had planned on creating TV apps for a range of devices, such as Apple TV and Xbox consoles. However, now the app will only be available for mobile devices.

In other words, those with a smartphone, whether it’s an iPhone, Android, Windows, Samsung, Huawei, OnePlus or similar, will be able to access Quibi from April 6.

Presumably, the app will not show up as downloadable on tablets, video games, streaming boxes or streaming TVs, such as Xbox, PlayStation, Roku, Apple TV, NVIDIA and so on.
