The world was rocked by the news of Chadwick Boseman’s death on Friday, August 28. After a year-long fight with colon cancer, the star passed away.
Boseman was known for his iconic role in Black Panther, and the King T’Challa actor also appeared in the movies Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, there has been no plan as of yet from Disney about how they will move forward with the Black Panther sequel.
THR states that ‘Now, the studio is processing the grief of losing a loved one — an actor beloved and respected on- and offscreen — while having to face the economic realities of forging ahead with a billion-dollar franchise without its titular star.
‘Furthermore, his death will ripple across the Marvel film universe, given that the Black Panther character was poised to appear in other interconnected films.’
The Black Panther movie can be streamed now on Disney Plus, or you can read our review of the title before checking it out.
