Cursed, Netflix’s new Arthurian inspired TV show, starts streaming today (July 17^th). It stars Katherine Langford and gives a new take on the Arthurian legend, where Excalibur chooses the Lady of the Lake, Nimue (Langford), instead of Arthur.

Based on the graphic novel of the same name by Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler, the show is packed with adventure and mythic characters (including Arthur and Merlin). We see Nimue grapple with her destiny against a backdrop of royal intrigue and dark magic.

The official Netflix synopsis reads: ‘Armed with mysterious powers and a legendary sword, young rebel Nimue joins forces with charming mercenary Arthur on a mission to save her people.’

Cursed has 10 episodes and is getting great reviews from critics. It joins other hit fantasy shows The Witcher and Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance on Netflix.
